Position description: The Victorian Council of Christian Education is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader with a passion for helping local churches grow deeper and more effective Bible engagement. The successful applicant will work closely with a designated Board Member to resource and encourage Bible engagement in local churches across Victoria, identify and develop effective resources, programs and strategies for such engagement and support leaders through consultancy coaching/mentoring and networking. The successful applicant will have • sound planning and execution skills • demonstrated ability to form working partnerships • capacity to produce tangible results • proven high level personal organisational skills • extensive networks across the Christian community • capacity to bridge a range of theological perspectives. Position description: The Victorian Council of Christian Education is seeking a highly motivated, theologically engaged person with a passion for growing effective ministry with children and their families. The successful applicant will work closely with a designated Board Member to resource and encourage the delivery of children and families ministry related units/courses in Victorian theological institutions, develop effective relationships with faculty and staff in such institutions and grow engagement with the Child Theology Movement across the state. The successful applicant will have • sound planning and execution skills • proven high level personal organisational skills • excellent written and verbal communication skills • capacity to bridge a range of theological perspectives • wide experience in teaching and/or theological education Completion of, or evidence of working toward, a post graduate qualification in theology or education will be desirable.
