Position description: Children and Families Ministry Leader
Williamstown Uniting Church – Electra St
Is seeking a person who is passionate about ministry with children.

Part time position for 2012. Ten hours per week. The position includes…
 Working with Kindergarten and Primary aged children in the congregation
 Supporting and training Sunday School teachers,
 Organising and conducting special programs for children and families
 Coordination of children’s involvement in worship,

The successful applicant will have a range of competencies and skills including
• Demonstrated passion for and experience in ministry with children.
• Willingness to be involved as a worshipping participant in the life of Electra Street Uniting Church. Understanding of and support for the ethos of the Uniting Church.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, networking and team building skills.
• Being self-motivated, with the ability to effectively manage time and prioritise tasks.
• Formal training in Children’s Work would be advantageous.
• Basic computer skills.
